The Stables at Bluemont Vineyard- a rustic, vineyard wedding.
Bluemont, Virginia is known for it's idyllic small-village character, nestled at the Eastern base of the Snickers Gap in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Bluemont promotes a beautiful countryside as well as simple countryside living- it's a beautiful mixture of historic buildings, old homes, and local businesses.
Bluemont is also home to Bluemont Vineyard- a farm vineyard wedding venue that combines rustic and elegance all in one. The panoramic views set the scene for Josh and Erin's wedding, which was a celebration of love, laughter and friendships,
Josh and Erin were a very relaxed and wonderful couple to work with- they fully put their trust in me to capture their wedding memories, which I always appreciate.
I really enjoyed watching the couple interact with their family and friends- friends you could tell have been around for a while, based on the inside jokes, laughter and comfort level. And every one was so kind- from wedding planner Amy Thunell (she was so personable and fun to work with), to the caterer Savoir Fare Limited- their service was impeccable.
The day went by so quickly, and it's one of the reasons why I love what I do so much- when you love what you do, you don't know where the time went. Literally. Their wedding carried on in the midst of a pandemic, which has been rough on everyone trying to plan a wedding the past couple of years, AND currently. But Josh and Erin persevered, with the support of their family and friends.
