A Wedding Celebrating Love + Family
There are times when a bride or groom will contact me and there is instant connection and chemistry. Speaking with Linda for the first time was just that- I had sent her a video reply to her inquiry and we just clicked. Speaking with her over the phone felt comfortable.
About 90 percent of the time, I am meeting my couples for the first time on their wedding day- it was no different with this couple. I was able to speak with Linda over the phone a few times, but met Dan the morning of the wedding. He was so welcoming, calm and kind. From that point on, I felt like I was working with family, which is always a great feeling.
The wedding was being hosted at Great Marsh Estate in Bealeton, Virginia which is one of my favorite venues to photograph weddings at. It's idyllic, historic, and beautifully maintained. Plus, they have some of the best staff around- wedding coordinators Lauren and Camillia who are two of the best gals to have by your side. But I digress...
Throughout the day, there were details displaying Linda and Dan's relationship, the importance of their children being involved, artistic details (the wedding top worn by the bride, was created by her very own sister), a custom painted wedding dress hanger, and all hands on deck, comprised of family and close friends of the couple.
I hope this collection of portraits displays the joy, love and celebration of this couple on their very special day. I was very proud to be a part of it, and wish the couple many years of love and blessings.
