Emily and Harsha’s wedding at Old Farm Winery in Northern Virginia was one of those days that just felt right from the beginning. The kind of day where everything slows down for a moment and you really get to witness what a wedding is all about—connection, celebration, and the people who make us who we are.
Set among the vineyard’s soft hills and warm summer light, the setting was naturally beautiful, but it was the people who made it unforgettable. Friends and family showed up for these two in the most heartfelt way—fully present, supportive, and so clearly happy to be part of their story. You could feel that this wedding wasn’t just about two people—it was about community, shared history, and bringing everyone together to honor something meaningful.
Emily and Harsha brought so much intention to the day. From the ceremony to the dance floor, it was a thoughtful blend of their cultures and personalities.
One of my favorite parts of the day was watching Harsha dance with his mom. There was something really tender and grounding about that moment—just a quiet kind of joy between them that said so much without needing to say anything. It was simple, and real, and stayed with me long after I packed up my gear.
As the sun set and everyone spilled out onto the dance floor, the energy shifted in the best way. Laughter, music, hugs between old friends, and a whole lot of dancing—it felt less like an event and more like a reunion. A chance to celebrate not just Emily and Harsha, but everything that brought them to this moment.
I feel lucky to have been there to witness it.
